No more fruits stall...

Seeing the dismantling of the stalls and the pulling down of the market can be a really an unbearable sight, esp after so many years of long tenure working at the market, from selling eggs to selling fruits, the market is like a second home to Ah Gong and Ah Ma,..

Finally the fruits stall is going to become history. No more selling of mandarin oranges during cny... no more selling of sugercanes, no more working into late nights during first and last day of the chinese lunar month....The closure of the fruit stall also marked the end of our "unlimited" supply of fruits whenever we 'dropped by" at Ah Gong's stall...Now, we have to go to the market or NTUC to buy if I want to eat bananas or oranges.

Ah gong's health has deteriorated due to age, of course, and also because of old ailments. Mummy said after his ops, we are going to bring Ah Gong and Ah Ma to the zoo....Yipee, I love going to the zoo.... Ah Gong, remember our date!

Ah Gong and Ah Ma are going to retire soon...coming end of this month, the market will be closed...

I think I will miss all the fun at the market, especially the time when I came down with my mummy to help out Ah gong 2-days before the Chinese New Year...
