Interrupted sleep

"Mummy, I have waken up." Nothing unusual if he did not actually wake up in the
middle of the night. The jet lag had really affected the two little ones. I
tried as hard as possible to get him to sleep but to no avail.

"Try to get some more sleep, it's still very early..." Still half-asleep, I
tried to convinced him to go back to sleep.
"But mummy, I am not sleepy, I want to do my homework, pleaseeee, can I?" He
pleaded with me.
"Good boy, try to go back to sleep, mummy needs to work tomorrow..." Trying to
ignore his whimming and whinning.
One minute later.
"Mummy, I had slept a little bit more already, can I do my homework now? Can I,
Mummy?"
After another 10 minutes, i finally gave up. I woke up and looked at the clock
on the wall. It's 4.30am in the morning. Alamak, still so early.
I let him brush his teeth and made his breakfast for him 'cos he said he was
hungry.
The next moment, I hear voices from another room, and not surprisingly, the
younger one came scurrying out of her room. Following behind her was her grandma,
looking wanning and tired.
"Gou Gou, gou gou." She was so happy to see her gou gou in the living room.
"She heard her Gou Gou's voice," my mum told me that Meimei also woke up in the
middle of the night, trying to get her way out of the room.
This went on for the next 3 days. The jet lag has really disturbed their usual
sleeping routine. Wonder how long they will need to re-adjust to their normal sleeping routine.

I went to Harvard University!

What a great opportunity to visit the Harvard University. Heard that there are many good Universities in Boston.

According to the tour guide, by touching the shoes of Harvard, you will get to study in this prestigious University. Anyway, there are so many people touching his shoes, so does that mean all of them get to study here? Notice how polished the shoe was?

"Obama joins list of seven presidents with Harvard degrees.

When sworn in on Jan. 20, Barack Obama will become the eighth U.S. president to have graduated from Harvard. President-elect Obama is a 1991 graduate of Harvard Law School. He joins current President George W. Bush (M.B.A. ’75) and Presidents John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Rutherford B. Hayes, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy as Harvard graduates chosen to serve as the nation’s chief executive.

Journalist Robert Windrem notes that Harvard has educated more U.S. presidents than any other university. Yale University has produced five U.S. presidents, with George W. Bush counting for both Harvard and Yale." Adapted from http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2008/11/obama-joins-list-of-seven-presidents-with-harvard-degrees/

It's really awesome and breath taking!

Really love the magnificent sight of the Niagara Falls. Love the splashing of the water on my face. It's really awesome and breath taking. We took a ride on the "Maid of the Mist" to sail near the base of the Horseshoe Falls, America Falls and Bridal Falls to have close encounter with the water falls. It's just so beautiful!
