Today I showed Mummy where to 'shishi', urine, I pulled down my pant and aim at the potty, and after that, I just wore my pants back. I am so proud of myself.

Panna Cotta (Italian Creme Brulee)

Hi all

Interested to make your own Panna Cotta? It's an italian custard. You can also serve with raspberries or blueberries on top. Try it, it really tastes as good as those served at restaurant!

Panna Cotta (Italian Creme Brulee)

Ingredient
=========
heavy cream milk (100ml)
water 25ml
sugar (2 tbls)
salt (1/8)
gelatine 7g (1 packet) - 凝固粉
buttermilk (200ml)
Orange juice (200ml) -



Steps
=======
1) Combine heavy cream, water, suger and salt in a saucepan and heat.
2) Stiring over medium heat to dissolve the suger,
3) Do not boil the mixture.
4) Remove the heat
5) Add gelatine to the cream mixture, blending well
6) Allow the mixture to cool and stir in buttermilk and juice
7) Pour into ramekins, cover and refrigerator for 3 hrs or util set

No more fruits stall...

Seeing the dismantling of the stalls and the pulling down of the market can be a really an unbearable sight, esp after so many years of long tenure working at the market, from selling eggs to selling fruits, the market is like a second home to Ah Gong and Ah Ma,..

Finally the fruits stall is going to become history. No more selling of mandarin oranges during cny... no more selling of sugercanes, no more working into late nights during first and last day of the chinese lunar month....The closure of the fruit stall also marked the end of our "unlimited" supply of fruits whenever we 'dropped by" at Ah Gong's stall...Now, we have to go to the market or NTUC to buy if I want to eat bananas or oranges.

Ah gong's health has deteriorated due to age, of course, and also because of old ailments. Mummy said after his ops, we are going to bring Ah Gong and Ah Ma to the zoo....Yipee, I love going to the zoo.... Ah Gong, remember our date!

Shopping at Taka

Went for blunch with Daddy's friends and then went shopping at Takashima. This time I didn't get lost. We were on our way back when we saw a large crowd gathering round a few cars outside the Taka Building. We were walking towards the crowd when something caught my attention. It was a mini car with a lot of fanciful pens inside the car......I thought they were free as I saw a lot of kids picking up the pens for themselves. So I also followed suit by choosing one for myself...But just as I was about to show off my new pen to mummy when one Jie Jie took back my pen. I wanted to cry initially when she took away my pen. But then she said that I could keep the pen if I can place my palms on the "white hands", painted on the car-lid, for 3 minutes. If I can do that, I will be able to walk away with the pen. I thought that this should be easy so I decided to give a shot for it.

I was lucky as mummy was besides me, offering me her cold drink. 3 minutes seem a long wait, but I perserve as my mummy always says "no venture no gain..."

So of course I won myself a pen finally....Yippee..I was so happy!

I have a cut on my leg...

I was so excited yesterday. Kristine and XiangXiang came to my new home. I was so eager to show them around. We ran in and out of the rooms, screaming away...

My new place has a little pond and I am going to rear fishes and tortoises there....

I was happily running about when I knocked down a lamp. I was scared to death when it crashed onto the floor, with the glasses shattering all over the floor. I was stunned for a while and shortly after that, Mummy found a small cut on my leg.... It was then I started crying...

I think I will miss all the fun at the market, especially the time when I came down with my mummy to help out Ah gong 2-days before the Chinese New Year...

I knew my Daddy and Mummys' names!!

I know my daddy's name. I called him by his name that day. Always hear mummy calling daddy by that name..

But I still like to call "Daddy" :)

I also knew Mummy's name but I still like to call "Mummy"

Complaint from Kristine

Kristine called up Mummy one day. Yi Yi said that she wanted to complain about me Oh no...

"Yi Yi, Aldric broke my Hello kitty when I was sleeping...."
"Yi Yi, don't buy toy for Aldric as he broke my hello kitty."

When mummy asked me, I told her that I've broken Jie Jie's hello kitty. (It's only a Hello kitty, what's the big deal. why girls always like to complain....)

Then mummy said she was going to give the gungfu panda to Kristine... I quickly protest...

No way, I am not going to give Jie jie...think i better hide my gungfu panda when i got home...

Book Review: The Animorphs

Quite enjoy reading the book on the Animorphs, by Katherine Applegate. .. What animal would you like to morph into if you were given a chance to lead a new life in a different being altogether.....What's life going to be if you were a hawk flying in the horizon free and carefree... To be a lion, strong and powerful....To be the grizzly mighty bear.... But I can't imagine morphing into an insect or a fly...

But of course, there's a price to pay if you stay in that form for more than 2 hours, you would not be able to return to your human form again. That happens to one of the boys in the story... mmm, quite scary too...

Like the way they describe the inner feeling of being the new animal....The instinct of the dog, the eyes of an eagle....
what's the feeling when you are at the top of the food chain. Like the way the author described the animals that they've morphed into.

A pity that I didn't really get to read all the books...This is one type of book that I would like to collect all. If I can...

The story is about the battle between the Andalites and the Yeerks.

Due to the kindness of one Andalite, the Yeerks species get the technology to travel to other planets and enslaved other species in those planets

The Yeerks are parasitic species. They live inside the bodies of other beings. They take over your mind and body. When the Yeerk is in your brain, you will be controlled by it.

The war continued and the Earthlings became the next target of the Yeerks. 5 teenages witnessed the death of the Prince Warrior Elfangor. Upon his death, he transferred the technology to morph to the 5 teenages.

Then they encountered Ax, who was the brother of the Prince Warrior Andalite. He was actually a young Andalite, who was not a real warrior like his brother. And he was the only survivor, the only Andalite trapped in Earth.

Anyway, it's fun to read the different adventures of the teenages and Ax when they fought against the Yeerks with the common objective - for the freedom.

The day I was lost

I was lost and found

Today was 11 Oct 2008. I went to Orchard Road with Daddy and Mummy. I love to go shopping with Mummy and Daddy. But today was an unforgettable day for me as i was lost in the mall.

We were at the toy section at Takashima shopping mall. I was playing with a toy one moment and the next moment I lost sight of mummy... I called out "mummy, mummy" but mummy didn't appear.

I was near to tears and started running around searching for mummy. Then an aunty came over and asked me where was my mummy. I thought maybe she might know where was my mummy so I asked her, "Mummy where?".

She held my hand and said that she would bring me to my mummy. We went down the escalator as I held tight to my Thomas the train. I scanned around for one last round for any sight of mummy or daddy before we descended to the second floor.

But I saw neither of them..

I was told to wait there in a room..Like what my mummy had always said, "Wait for mummy here.."

So I waited, waited... One Jie jie was trying to play with me, but I was in no mood to play... Can't they tell I was in bad mood.., where was my mummy?

I was scared....very scared indeed. What's going to happen to me?

Then I heard the broadcasting, "A little boy, around 3 years old was found, will the parents of the boy, pls proceed to the service counter..."

"Are they referring to me?

It's like ages sitting there... I've no idea how long i have waited...all I know was that the door opened and Jie Jie took my hand and brought me out of the room...

There I saw a familiar face. "Mummy!!"

I was so happy to see my mummy. I ran towards her and held her tight. I am not going to let go of mummy...tears had already streamed down my face..

I was choking with tears but I don't care, I had found my mummy. I will never forget this day.

Singapore Expo - Family day

Have been to Expo for the family day organised by Exsso Mobile on one of the Saturdays.

You know something, I can make magic....You see, there was nothing initially until I blew and blew and then my mummy and daddy and of course plus me, appeared in the photo....

I love KFC!!

I have grown taller...

I know how to turn the door handle. Mummy was so impressed when i opened the door myself.
Now i can go out of the room whithout having to ask mummy to open the door for me. Yipee!

At Jurong Bird Park

I love to see the penguins.... there are so many of them in the bird park..

i love the parrot show best. Picasso is so smart. He is a great painter! Though i don't quite appreciate what is abstract art..
I like the other parrot, can't remember his name, he knew how to throw the empty bottle into the recycled bin! Daddy also recycles bottles!!

Daddy rented a big stroller for me. It's actually big enough to carry 2 persons...But most of the time, Kristine ride on my personal stroller while I ride on the rented stroller.

Mid-Lantern Festival

In the Lift all by Myself!

I was never so scared in my life. I was all alone in the lift, imagine that, just me in that small box!!! Can only see my own reflection at the mirrors surrounding me...
I was waiting for mummy and daddy in the lift and the next moment, I saw the lift closing! Ahhhhhhh....I panicked! But I can only cry..
I saw the last bit of mummy and daddy when the lift went down. My face turned as white as sheet...What is going to happen to me!! OMG!
Will I see my mummy and daddy again?? Mama!!!! Mama!! sobbb......
At last the lift stopped at the first floor, I must have pressed 1 for the ground floor....I dashed out of the lift immediately, but I couldn't see mummy and daddy so i dashed into the lift again...
At that moment, someone grabbed my hands....
Yes, it's my daddy and mummy...I am so happy !!!!
But I still threw up like usual whenever I cried too much..Yucks!! Wasted nanny's food...sigh..
Luckily mummy and daddy came to my rescue on time.
Will never go into the lift without holding hands now. Not when i am much older...
