Aldric's drawing
"Mummy! Why is my drawing in the trash bin? I drew it specially for you!". Aldric picked up his drawing from the trash bin.
"Is it?", I tried to look surprise, thinking of an excuse to escape his incessant interrogation. "Mummy must have accidentally thrown it away as trash..."
"Mummy, you didn't say sorry. I angry you already.." He pouted his little mouth to show that he was angry.
"Ok, Mummy is so sorry.." I took the drawing from him and gave him a big hug.
"Mummy, I forgive you but you must keep it in a safe place, don't lose it again ok." He said, returning me a snuggly hug.

A Surprise Halloween treat!
My little girl was eating her yummy seaweed when she heard her Gor Gor and Daddys' voices at the door.
"Daddy and Gor Gor are back home!" I told her.
She quickly hid her snack away and said, "Don't let Gor Gor eat my seaweed...".
She had just hidden her seaweed behind the cushion when Gor Gor ran over to her and said, "Look Mei Mei, I got a lot of Halloween treats..see, you want which one...Gor Gor gives you..." Then he took out all the treats he had from his bag and offered Mei mei one of his treats from his teacher.
Mei Mei was so happy and she turned around and took out her hidden seaweed and said, "Gor gor, you can have my seaweed."
"Mummy, Mei Mei had a surprise for me! I love you, Mei Mei!"
Mei Mei gave him a big smile.

Where does your milk come from?
"Mummy, where does your milk come from? Aldric posted this question to me when he saw me breastfeeding my little newborn...
"Because Didi needs to drink milk, so mummy's milk will flow out when he suckle..."
"Just like the cow right? The cow will also have milk if it has baby calf..."
He really could make good analogy. Now I become the cow already...
"It's amazing right?" I told him.
"Yes, it's magical!" he gave me his sweetest smile!
"Do you want some?" I asked him.
"Nope, I don't like the taste!" He shook his head. Never did he know that he has actually had a little of his fair share of the breastmilk when he asked me for his daily milk that day. LOL

Ah Ma can drink a little bit...
Mei Mei likes to hide her milk bottle behind her pillow. We like to disturb her by asking her to give up her milk bottle to Ah Gong or Mummy. She will refuse and tell you "NO". But when Ah Ma asked her if she could give up her milk to Ah Ma, she will say ok. And she will tell Ah Ma to drink just a little bit from her milk bottle.
Ah Ma always has the first privilege.

Mei Mei's strategy...
Mei Mei had a bad cough for nearly 2 weeks.
"No orange for you. Wait till you recover from your cough." Ah Gong shook his head when Mei Mei asked from him for her favourite orange.
She knitted her brows. She liked to do that as if she was in deep thoughts.
"I want to give orange to daddy." She told Ah Gong.
"Ok, Ah Gong will give it to your daddy..."
Ah Gong took 1 slice of orange and walked into the living room. Mei Mei followed faithfully behind him. And sure enough, Ah Gong gave one slice of orange to her daddy.
Mei Mei climbed up onto the sofa and snuggled close to her daddy after Ah Gong went back to his room.
"Daddy, can I have a little?"
I told her that she cannot eat, else she would have to eat her medicine.
She whinned and said that she had already taken her medicine.
"Mei Mei eats medicine already...Mei Mei eats medicine already."
"Sshh, just a little bit..." Her daddy gave her a little bit...
"Sshhh..." She imitated her daddy. She smiled, satisfied that she had gotten what she wanted.

Don't swallow the seeds
Aldric and Aislin were busy eating grapes one day.

Mummy loves Gou Gou, not Mei mei
Maybe I have unwittingly sent the wrong signals to my little girl that I don't love her as much as I love her brother. So when she was asked whether Mummy loved her or not..She said that Mummy loves Gou Gou... not Mei mei...
Kids are so impressionable. Even though I tried to bond with her as much as possible, she still feel that I don't love her as much. And her brother will always tell her that Mummy loves him more...and he will always fight with Mei Mei for my attention...which made her think that Mummy don't love her.
So sad...

A dazzling night!
It's the mid-autumn festival again and the moon is at its roundest! It's a pity that Kristine Jie Jie didn't join us this year...but I still had great fun carrying the lantern in the drizzling rain with my little sister, of course with my daddy and mummy.

How many claws does a t-rex have?
How many claws does a t-rex have?
He was given a picture to colour. It looks like a T-REX. We all think so. But Aldric thinks otherwise.
No, it's not T-Rex. T-rex has 2 claws only. The T-rex dinosaur in Toy Story has only 2 claws too. The t-rex we have at home also has 2 claws. He seemed to be very confident of that.
Is it? I am quite doubtful, so is his Sharon teacher.
I went home to google and much to my surprise, the little tike was right, T-rex really has only 2 claws. I am impressed by his sharp observation.

I should not have procrastinated...
He was beaming from ear to ear.
I just sewed up the hole on his pants. Kids are so easily satisfied.
He has been asking me to sew the hole on his pants and I had promised him that I will do it but I was just too lazy to pick up my needle and thread...so I just procrastinate and procrastinate....
Well, one day, I decided to work on his torn pants...
He was so happy, his face had showed it all, full of gratitude...
I should have done it earlier.
