This incident actually happened sometimes back.
Received a call from Aldric's form teacher. My heart actually skipped a beat when Ms Mas identified herself over the phone. Lots of questions started pouring in. Something happen?
'Hi I am calling to tell you that Aldric was hurt in class... He was scratched by another boy. But don't worry, it was a small cut on his arm. He was a brave boy, he didn't cry.... Had 'disciplined' the other boy...He was fine...have brought him to the first aid room to cleanse his 'wound'..."
I was relieved after learning that he was ok. Of course, I am glad that his form teacher actually made an effort to inform me.
That night I pulled him to one corner to find out his side of the story. I learnt that he was playing 'spiderman' in class with Ismail. But boys are boys. And boys can be pretty rough at play.
I asked him if it was still hurt and he told me no.
And he seemed to shrug off the incident by telling me how he and Ismail acted out the spiderman in class.
'Is Ismail still your friend?' I asked him.
'Yes, yes, we shake hands already.' he showed me his sweetest smile!
This blog is written to capture the precious moments in the lives of our baby. It's a pity we didn't really track all the different milestones of his development, however, will try to recall all his exciting moments, hoping that one day, our little one will come in to this blog and reminisce together with us those special moments...

The Inaugural YOG opening!
A glimpse at the Peranakan Museum
When daddy said that we were going to the Peranakan Museum, I am so excited. Though, I had no idea where and what is Peranakan Museum. Anyway, I had a fulfilled day there as I got to watch the Cambodian dance which was based on the khmer version of the Ramayana. I love the gripping and beautiful tale about Prince Rama and how he won the hand's of Princess Sita in marriage. And his arduous journey to the rescue of his beloved wife who was kidnapped by the 10-headed demon king, Ravana.
I didn't have a chance to showcase my archery skill...But I do have fun creating my master art piece - a booklet with a peacock covered page!
