How long do u need to remember 20 items in the correct sequence?

Memory Management

When I was asked this question for the first time, I was really stumped. Really, I don't really know whether I could do that. But I really did it after visualising and associating the items one after another and i could really name these items in the correct sequence...in less than 3 minutes.

See if you can do it too.

National Library
Book
Feather
Eye
Car
Aeroplane
Stadium
Soccer
Scooter
TV
Moon
River
Flowers
Rocket
Traffic Light
Monkey
Swimming Pool
BriefCase

Haha...not bad. can still remember 18 out of 20 words in the correct sequence..after after few days later..

At least prove one thing, this technique really work!

I can still remember the story associating these items...

"Imagine you are at this National Library, opening a book...you see a feather..u use the feather to poke your eye and out from your eye came out a car...The car flew into the sky like an aeroplane..crashed into a stadium..in the stadium, there was this soccer ball...u cut the soccer ball into half and u saw a scooter inside...behind the scooter there's a TV...On the TV, there's a moon, the moon fell into the river...On the river, there were a lot of flowers...the flowers shoot up into the sky like a rocket...and crash onto a traffic light....then there's the monkey on the traffic light and it jump into the swimming pool...in the swimming pool, there's a briefcase..."
