It's remarkable that you have grown so much...your every gesture can be so captivating and amusing....Really treasure and cherish the bonding with you at night after fetching you back from your nanny's place... though sometimes mummy can be really tired after a long day at work...Your eyes always beamed when you see us... And you will dash to the door and tried to open the door on your own. You are always so cheeky and naughty when you are with mummy and daddy...maybe you knew that we love you so much so you were more daring when at home than when you were at your nanny's place..
Like to talk to you. Love you to tell mummy how much you love mummy. Always ask you to give mummy a lot of kisses... hahaha.... Daddy is jealous sometimes as you don't like to kiss him on the cheek as much. That is because you are always complaining that daddy's face is always wet wet......Daddy always has to clean his face and ask you to kiss him...poor daddy....heehee
Love you so much, my little one
Mummy
This blog is written to capture the precious moments in the lives of our baby. It's a pity we didn't really track all the different milestones of his development, however, will try to recall all his exciting moments, hoping that one day, our little one will come in to this blog and reminisce together with us those special moments...

"Mummy, you are bringing me to school is it?"

"Mummy, you are back, I couldn't find you just now." (He would show me his sad face)
"Mummy, I went to the toilet to look for you but you were not there."
"Mummy, I want to sleep with you. I want to see you when I open my eyes." (If I ask him to sleep on the mattress below, he would give me the reluctant face...)
"Mummy, I want to drink my milk" (Always call out mummy for his milk, seldom call out to his daddy...:0( )
"Mummy, I want to drink yakult and drink milk milk."
"Mummy, I want to drink bubble tea!, I want to eat the jelly"
"Mummy, I want my elephant bolster."
"Mummy, where are my drum sticks?"

"Mummy, I don't want to sleep, I want to watch barney"
"Mummy, I want my animal book."
"Mummy, I want to read beauty and the beast!"
"Mummy, mummy, I love you. Mummy, papa, I love you."
"Mummy, I want to see crocodile on TV!" (He's referring to the documentary show that he has watched on Okto.)
"Mummy, I want to watch Okto!" (He loves to watch all the shows on Okto!!)
"Mummy, 'T' stands for 'NTUC'!!!" (Then he would laugh and laugh non-stop 'cos I told him 'T' stands for Teacher and he just doesn't want to say so!!)

I want to sweep the floor...
We were watching the 10.00pm news broadcast one night...the news was showing abt the job market for the newly uni graduates...
Our 2 and a half years old son was watching his barney show as usual on his portable player...
"Son, do you want to study at the university?"
Aldric just looked up at his daddy for a moment and replied with a firm "No"
"Why?" His daddy asked him.
Without raising his head this time, he said "I want to sweep the floor..."
We looked at each other. Really puzzled at his answer, so his daddy asked him a second time.
This time, our son thought abt it for 2 seconds and replied "I want to play toys."
Wondering how a 2-years-old kid's mind works....

Mummy, It's raining
We were on our way home on day. Daddy was carrying Aldric...
Suddenly, Aldric called out to Mummy...
Aldric: Mummy, it's raining...
Mummy: Is it? no leh (After confirming that it's not raining..)
Then we suddenly we come to realisation that the 'raindrops' were actually Daddy's beads of perspirations.
We had a good laugh....

Nanny went for holidays - 26-Mar-2009 to 30-Mar-2009
Had to spend the next 5 days with Aldric as his nanny went to Ipoh for short holidays.
Brought him to school and was glad to see him going into the classroom without making any fuss. He just sat down with the rest of the children and waved back to me. I was really surprised to see him so well-behaved. I know he can be really very naughty at times, giving his testimonials at home.....but seeing his angelic smile when he looked at me really made me feel like hugging him once more...
Fetching him home also filled me with excitement and satisfaction. A lot of people were already gathering outside the classroom, waiting for their children....While I was waiting outside, I could see Aldric, standing among the children, waiting for his turn to be called. His eyes were busily scanning for familar faces and when he caught the sight of me, he immediately signalled his teacher that I was here for him. He flashed me that sweetest smile that really can melt your heart when he came out of the classroom, at the same time waving goodbye to his teachers. Holding his little hand that moment really made me feel like that I am the happiest mummy in the world...
