Scene: At Mandai crematorium and columbarium (万礼火化场与骨灰供安置处) on sunday 29-Mar at night. We were there the second time on that very same day. First time was to visit my great-maternal Ah gong and Ah ma, second time was to visit my paternal ah gong....
Aldric: Mummy, I want to see monkeys...
Mummy: There's no monkey here...mmmm...maybe you can see if you can spot any cockroaches on the floor....
Aldric: You can find them in the dustbin lor.....
Mummy: {Stunned..}
This blog is written to capture the precious moments in the lives of our baby. It's a pity we didn't really track all the different milestones of his development, however, will try to recall all his exciting moments, hoping that one day, our little one will come in to this blog and reminisce together with us those special moments...

Nanny went for holidays - 26-Mar-2009 to 30-Mar-2009
Had to spend the next 5 days with Aldric as his nanny went to Ipoh for short holidays.
Brought him to school and was glad to see him going into the classroom without making any fuss. He just sat down with the rest of the children and waved back to me. I was really surprised to see him so well-behaved. I know he can be really very naughty at times, giving his testimonials at home.....but seeing his angelic smile when he looked at me really made me feel like hugging him once more...
Fetching him home also filled me with excitement and satisfaction. A lot of people were already gathering outside the classroom, waiting for their children....While I was waiting outside, I could see Aldric, standing among the children, waiting for his turn to be called. His eyes were busily scanning for familar faces and when he caught the sight of me, he immediately signalled his teacher that I was here for him. He flashed me that sweetest smile that really can melt your heart when he came out of the classroom, at the same time waving goodbye to his teachers. Holding his little hand that moment really made me feel like that I am the happiest mummy in the world...

My first school holidays
Today Mummy said that I don't have to go to school.. I am a bit disappointed as I am so used to wearing my uniform and going to school. I am going to miss my teachers and friends...:(
Mummy, when I can go back to school again??

See my drum collection! Though I only have 2 drums, I also use my little stool as my drum. See my "masterwork". "Mummy, my drum has a crack leh!" But it's ok, I can use it.
See my little lion, isn't it cool!

Watching movie with Daddy
Daddy rented a movie for me! I dunno what's show is about, but i know there's a lot of fighting and I also saw my favourite Panda!
Mummy did not watch the show with us as she think that the show is silly but I do share the same humour as Daddy.

Cockroach
I find it so funny when i see him telling pple abt the cockroach that he saw that day. I think only mummy could understand what he's trying to say.
One night in the room...
Mummy: Aldric, there's a cockroach on the table, near the scissor!!!
Aldric: Mummy,is it real?
Mummy: It's real...call daddy quick...
Aldric: Daddy, daddy, there's a cockroach, see, see, there's a cockroach!!
Daddy try to catch it...First the cockroach dropped to the bed and then to the floor... then it flew out of the window....
A few days later...
Aldric: Gugu, there's a cockroach on the table, got scissor there.... It flew onto the bed, then it flew onto the floor....daddy caught it...it flew away...
GuGu: Huh?

At Oscar restaurant...
Daddy and mummy brought me out for for a dinner treat on one Saturday. It was drizzling outside the car but it didn't dampen my mood...I was told that It's a buffet....and it's a high-class restaurant....and just 3 of us, my happy family outing....
It's so cool as I was given a drawing set to show off my colouring skill.... mmmm...I thought we were having dinner.....but then, I don't mind doing a bit of colouring before having my dinner...
I have some suishi and soup. I saw daddy and mummy going for a few rounds.....and everytime, there are food on their plates and someone would clear their plates on the table...I have my share of a strawberry ice-cream, a bit of noodles and a lot of my favourite grapes...
I think I ate too much as I vomitted when I stepped out of the restaurant... Yucks..... I smell of the strawberry ice-cream that I've eaten.... But overall I still enjoyed the atmosphere and food....esp the ice-cream and grapes.....

Mummy, it's Cheetah!
Very amazed at how fast he grew up, from little infant to what he is now...Also surprised at how fast he could pick up new words, though sometimes he can be pronouncing wrongly....
Thought it is difficult to tell him the difference between emu and ostrich at this tender age, but was surprised that he could actually tell the difference when he saw them in the picture book...or maybe he has guessed correctly..but really, cannot underestimate a 2-years-old boy's ability to remember difficult words...
"Mummy, there's a star in the sky! Twinkle, twinkle little star...."

My newborn cousin - Wei Ran
Went to visit my little cousin, Wei Ran, 2 weeks ago. He has small feet, small hands, small ears..He was drinking his milk when I visited him.
"Mummy, I am bigger than him leh." Of course, I am, I am going to be 3 years old this year. :)
Will be seeing him again as mummy said WeiRan is going to be 1 month old. Wow, I can see all my cousins again!!
